The MAEC museum consists of an underground which was once a prison and is now the home of the Etruscan and Roman museum.  Situated in Piazza Signorelli between the Town Hall  and the theatre, the building also holds the library which contains the historical archives of the Etruscan Academy.  In other rooms of the building there are exhibitions of contempory are.
